About Philip

I work with professionals, business owners and their families in London who come to me to help them make important financial decisions.

I have been in financial services for more than 25 years, originally advising institutions on their investments at HSBC investment bank and Merrill Lynch, but I have spent the last eight years advising individual clients and their families in the UK and abroad. I am a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager which is the highest financial services qualification.

Most of my day-to-day time is spent meeting with clients, running through their financial plans and ensuring they are always on track to reach their goals. This involves also managing their investments efficiently, looking at ways to minimise tax and plan their estates, as well as protect them from any risks.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

My three young children – Mark, Marianna and Adrianna – keep me occupied most of the time. But I also love to go to rock concerts, musicals and I’m a keen scuba diver. I’m also an amateur electric guitar player and armchair-Arsenal fan.

Are there any personal achievements you are proud of?

I managed to survive all the grades of the white-water rapids under the Victoria Falls – possibly the most harrowing experience of my life!

What’s your favourite part of the world?

Santorini, Greece, otherwise known as Thera – my wife’s home. But also, London!

What one thing is guaranteed to make your day better?

A client saying how much I have helped them – there is no better feeling in the world.

What do you most enjoy helping clients with?

I love running through cashflow plans and helping clients to visualise their financial future.
